# 1 FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS DONUT SALES
On Saturday July 20, 2019, Tim Hortons and the Special Olympics are releasing a limited edition donut to support and celebrate Global Day of Inclusion. Global Day of Inclusion began in 2018 and together Tim Hortons and Special Olympics are raising awareness to empower 47,500 Canadians with intellectual disabilities to reach their full potential.
This years donut was created by 26 year old Special Olympics athlete Tori Ranson, whose creation was chosen from more than 400 submissions.
We are pleased to announce that our downtown Bolton restaurant sold the MOST donuts in our region by a landslide AND the MOST donuts in the COUNTRY! This is an UNBELIEVABLE result and we are VERY thankful to all our guests and Team Members for making this day a special one all round!
To further add to our congratulations, our other three restaurants were 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the region, with our uptown Bolton restaurant finishing 3rd in the country!
Once again, our guests have come through!
