Donations?

Donation requests are to be delivered to each individual restaurant in written form. Each request is to be delivered to the attention of Brad Stafford. Phone calls for donations will not be accepted. How old do you have to be to work at Tim Hortons?

All applicants who wish to apply at one of our restaurants must be 15 years of age or older.

I left my phone, purse, article of clothing (scarf, gloves, and jacket) at one of your restaurants, what do I do?

Our bus person(s) and Management Team Members frequent the restaurant front and washrooms located inside our restaurant on a regular basis throughout all shifts. We are continually cleaning all areas of our restaurant and will automatically pick up any items left behind or unattended. Guests are encouraged to hand-in any items they find on the property to a Team Member. All lost items are kept inside our locked office and tagged immediately. If you have lost or misplaced an item(s) and feel it may have been left at one of our restaurant locations, please contact the individual restaurant and speak directly with a Management Team Member.

What is a Tim Card?

The Tim Card is a pre-paid, reloadable cash card that you can use to pay for purchases at participating Tim Hortons restaurants. It is the convenient and easy way to pay!

Is there an expiry date on a Tim Card?

The Tim Card does not have an expiry date, however, if the card has had a zero balance for a two year period it is deemed inactive and cannot be used.

What if I lose my Tim Card?

If your TimCard has been registered and is lost or stolen, please call 1-866-TIMCARD (846-2273) immediately. You will need to provide your card number and answer questions concerning recent activity on your account. Upon verification, we can freeze and transfer your remaining balance. Please note that the remaining balance of an unregistered card cannot be replaced even if we are notified of its loss or theft. At all times, please treat your TimCard like cash.

How much is a coffee urn rental? What do I receive for that price?

We have urn rentals at each one of our restaurant locations. Our urns are available in two different sizes. A small urn serves 35 small coffees and our large urn which serves 70 small coffees. Each urn rental comes with condiments including cups, creamettes, milkettes, sugar, sweetener and stir sticks. A deposit is required of $40.00 cash (per urn rental) when the urn is picked up from the restaurant location of your choice and is given back to our guest when the urn is returned. Please inform a Management Team Member if you do NOT require condiments with your urn order. Please contact each restaurant individually for current urn prices.

What does your restaurant accept as method of payment?

What is a “Take 12” and how do I order one? What does it come with?

A “Take 12” has been designed to allow our guests to purchase a bulk order of various Tim Hortons hot beverages to enjoy with their family, friends and co-workers. A “Take 12” comes with 12 small cups and lids, creamettes, milkettes, sugar, sweetener and stir sticks.
A maximum holding time of two hours is recommended in order to ensure product quality and to maintain acceptable serving temperatures. “Take 12” is available in Original Blend Coffee, Dark Roast Blend Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee, Steeped Tea, French Vanilla and Hot Chocolate.

Why do some restaurants sell certain donuts and others do not?

In order to maintain consistency across our chain, there are a number of "Required Products" that every restaurant must offer, including guest favourites like Boston Cream and Apple Fritter. However, a list of "Optional Products" allows our restaurants to customize what they offer based on their specific guests' feedback and preferences. That is why you may see certain types of baked goods at one restaurant and not at another.

Do your restaurants offer free Wi-Fi?

We are pleased to offer a guest FREE Wi-Fi during their visit to our restaurants.

What is the Tim Hortons Mobile App and how does it work?

The Tim Hortons Mobile App allows guests to order and pay ahead via an app on their smartphone devices (Android and IOS). The Tim Hortons Mobile App is simple and easy to use...
» Guest selects Food & Beverage items to order
» Guest selects Checkout
» Guest selects whether they will be picking up through the Drive-Thru or In-Restaurant
» Guest confirms the Restaurant location they want to pick-up from (app displays Restaurant locations based on Guest frequency and proximity)
» Guest confirms by clicking "order" at which time payment is automatically made via the TimCard in the app prior to pick-up. This means that Guests DO NOT pay once they arrive at the Restaurant
» Guest is informed to proceed to the Restaurant and provide their name when they arrive
